The South West Structural Biology Consortium Meeting 2010 took place on 22nd and 23rd June 2010 at Cardiff University. As in previous years the core part of the conference consisted of talks given by  academic and commercial speakers. Moreover there were poster presentations combined with the sponsors exhibition. Over 120 academic and commercial participants attended. The whole event took place in the Main Building of Cardiff University.

The winners of presentation competition (sponsored by BCA) are:

Hannah Maple (University of Bristol) 1st prize

High-throughput fragment screening by non-covalent mass spectrometry


Emily Newman (University of Portsmouth) 2nd prize

Biophysical Analysis of the Nucleosome Assembly Protein (xNAP1) and its Interactions with Histones
